Tuesday 14th February

The first knockout rounds in the Champions League and Europa League are scheduled for midweek, with a number of interested ties taking place all over Europe. We have attempted to find several value bets to include in our midweek accumulator, so read on to find out our suggestions and let us know your thoughts.

20:45 CET Benfica vs Borussia Dortmund

Benfica have become regular in Champions League knockout stages and this is definitely a good time to be facing Borussia Dortmund, who have been struggling for form. The Eagles are certain to adopt a positive approach and will look to free-scoring Mitroglou and Jonas to provide the goals, while the Millionaires will have the likes of Aubameyang, Reus and Dembele to rely on up front. All things considered, we could easily see goals galore at Estadio da Luz.

Tip: both teams to score @7/10

Wednesday 15th February

20:45 CET Real Madrid vs Napoli

For the first time in weeks, Real Madrid will be almost at full strength with only Gareth Bale missing. But, while los Blancos are unbeaten in nine home games in UCL, they have conceded in each of their last six, which is something that red-hot Napoli will be looking to exploit. The likes of Mertens, Callejon, Insigne and Hamsik should prove a handful for Real Madrid defenders, so this is another game where we expect both sides to get on the scoresheet.

Tip: both teams to score @8/13

Thursday 16th February

19:00 CET AZ Alkmaar vs Lyon

Many agree that this is one of the weakest AZ Alkmaar sides in years, and while they somehow managed to progress to the first knockout stage, we don’t see how the hosts are going to match star-studded Lyon, especially after defeats to Vitesse and PSV. Les Gones will be eager to make amends for the league defeat to Guingamp and we are backing them to win their third successive Europa League fixture on the road.

Tip: away win @5/6

19:00 CET Gent vs Tottenham

KAA Gent occupy 8th position in the overall standings in Belgium and having conceded 7 goals in three home games in this year’s Europa League, they don’t have much to hope for ahead of the clash with Tottenham Hotspur. Even if Mauricio Pochettino decides to rest some of his regular starters, Spurs will be very motivated to make up for the poor showing in the 2-0 loss to Liverpool and with the back-ups eager to impress, away win seems on the cards.

Tip: away win @3/4
