Bentaleb pens new Spurs deal

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has put pen to paper on a new five year deal at White Hart Lane, according to Talksport.

The twenty year old broke into the Spurs first team half way through the 2013/14 campaign, and has since racked up fifty-five appearances, with his one and only goal so far coming in last season’s 4-0 League Cup fifth round victory over Newcastle United.

He has a far more prolific scoring record for his country, having net three times in just seventeen appearances for Algeria while he was part of their squad for last summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.

Juventus, Paris Saint Germain and Roma had all registered an interest in signing the twenty year old though he is now committed to the North London side until the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Spurs begin next season with a trip to Manchester United, and the away win can be backed 4/1.
