Club football is back this weekend with a plethora of interesting games to come. From contests in England and France to Germany and Spain, every game brings with it a hugely important 90 minutes, be it for a title challenge, a push for European places, or to avoid relegation, this weekend’s games could be huge come the end of the season. With this in mind, we have found some very interesting bets for you to take a look at.

Saturday 2nd December

14:30 BST Hoffenheim vs RB Leipzig

Seventh in the table hosts second in what could be a hugely entertaining game in Germany on Saturday. Hoffenheim have been inconsistent this season, but they have managed to accumulate 20 points despite only winning one of their last five games. RB Leipzig have once again been in fine form this season as they currently sit just three points behind leaders Bayern Munich. Three wins, one draw and a defeat in their last five is a good record, and they will be looking to make it two wins from two in the league with a win on Saturday.

Tip: Away win @ 11/10

15:00 Watford vs Tottenham

Watford have been in good form this season under Marco Silva and they look like a very tough proposition to beat. 21 points from 14 games has seen them into eighth in the league, just three points behind their next opponents. For Tottenham, things have been tough in the last few weeks. Spurs are winless in three Premier League games and have slipped down to seventh, with the Champions League places moving out of their grasp. A win for the away side is vital, but we are backing Watford to capitalise on their home advantage, and Tottenham’s poor form.

Tip: Home win @ 4/1

15:15 Atletico Madrid vs Real Sociedad

Atletico Madrid currently sit in third-place in the league with 27 points, eight short of Barcelona at the top. They are currently ahead of arch-rivals Real Madrid by virtue of their goal difference, and they will want to keep it that way by claiming yet another win. Real Sociedad have been very inconsistent in their last five, winning just once, drawing three times and losing the other. They need to turn things around soon, or they will see the European places slip from their grasp.

Tip: Home win @ 1/2

Sunday 3rd December

13:30 Bournemouth vs Southampton

Bournemouth had to stomach a defeat in their last game that followed up a disappointing draw with Swansea the week before. Despite this, Eddie Howe’s men have looked far better than they did at the start of the season. Southampton ran Manchester City very close in their midweek game as a late Raheem Sterling goal broke the hearts of the away team. While they were very good in that game, one wonders whether they will have burnt themselves out following a superb performance in the week that came to nothing.

Tip: Home win @ 21/10

19:45 Sampdoria vs Lazio

Sampdoria have been in fine form in recent weeks and they are looking like a good bet to claim a European place this season. After 13 games they have 26 points, and they are six clear of AC Milan in seventh. Lazio are a place and three points above their next opponents as they look to chase down those at the top. Despite Lazio’s points advantage in the table, we are backing the home side to come out on top here.

Tip: Home win @ 13/5
