AC MilanÂ’s search for a defender has brought Czech national team player Radoslav Kovac into the picture.
With injuries to MilanÂ’s back line, the club of Via Turati needs a defender to fight for this yearÂ’s Serie A title. Recent names brought to the table have been LazioÂ’s Guglielmo Stendardo and ChelseaÂ’s Branislav Ivanovic.
With both transfers looking dim, AC Milan are in talks with 29 year old Spartak Moscow defender Radoslav Kovac.
AC would benefit from Kovac as he is able to play as a central defender and midfielder.
KovacÂ’s agent, Pavel Zika commented that they have spoken with Milan, but are still in the initial dealing faze. He added that the two clubs have a good relationship, and they could find an agreement soon around the sum of 5 million Euros.
For Kovac, his contract is said to go from 1.2 to 1.6-1.7 million Euros per season.
