AC Milan confirm Adebayor interest

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that they are interested in signing Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

But Galliani insists they could only make a move for the Togo international if they fail to sign Wolfsburg ace Edin Dzeko.

Galliani has confirmed that he has spoken with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger about Adebayor.

“Adebayor is the alternative to Dzeko, but I’ve called Arsenal to inform them of our interest,” re-affirmed Galliani.

“I’ve spoken to Arsene Wenger and Adebayor was part of the conversation.”
