Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that AC Milan are set to launch a fresh assault on Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Rossoneri seriously reinforced their ranks over the summer, but they are still in the market for a proven goalscorer.
According to reports, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is back on their radar, with directors Fassone and Mirabelli hoping to agree a deal with Borussia Dortmund.
It would appear as though the Gabonese is ready to return to Stadio San Siro, and the AC Milan chiefs hope he will request a transfer.
But, even if he fails to do so, Borussia Dortmund representatives are aware of his desire to leave and they are prepared to consider big money offers for his services.
Having bagged 120 goals in 189 appearances for the Millionaires, Aubameyang has been one of Europe’s most prolific strikers in recent years.
