AC Milan not interested in Eto’o

AC Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida insists the club is not interested in signing Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o this summer.

Reports in Italian and Spanish media earlier this week linked the Cameroon international with a move to the San Siro.

Eto’o’s contract with Barcelona expires at the end of next season and reports claim the club are considering selling their star striker this summer.

“It is not reality,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport when questioned on the club’s Eto’o interest. “It is all just press rumours.”

“There is no interest, Milan has other plans and they do not want to sign that player so every can calm down,” added Italian football agent Ernesto Bronzetti.
