Italian giants AC Milan have no plans to reinforce the squad in January, it has been confirmed.
The Rossoneri had recruited a host of quality footballers in the summer, but the team have so far failed to live up to the billing.
The poor run of results forced the club chiefs to sack head coach Vincenzo Montella, with Gennaro Gattuso appointed to replace him.
Speaking at the official unveiling of the new boss, the Rossoneri CEO Marco Fassone made it clear there would be no new signings in January.
“We don’t have the intention to go into the transfer market in January, we’re convinced that this squad can achieve important results,” Fassone said.
AC Milan sit 11 points behind Champions League positions at the moment and they are priced at 15/1 to achieve a top 4 finish.
