Italian giants AC Milan are preparing an official offer for Roma midfielder Andrea Bertolacci, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Rossoneri are close to persuading Nigel de Jong to sign a new deal at San Siro, but they still plan to recruit at least one more central midfielder.
And while Jose Mauri and Roberto Soriano are also on their radar, AC Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign Andrea Bertolacci.
The latest reports suggest that AS Roma have purchased the remaining half of his contract from Genoa, but the Giallorossi might be willing to listen to offers for his services.
AC Milan seem ready to offer €10 million for the talented footballer and that is not too far from the Giallorossi’s valuation of the player.
Andrea Bertolacci, 24, impressed playing for Genoa last season, having managed 6 goals and 8 assists in 34 Serie A outings for the club.
