Adil Rami talks up Marseille switch

Sevilla defender Adil Rami has moved to confirm that French giants Marseille have showed interest in his services.

Free-spending OM are believed to have identified the France international as one of their primary targets as they are keen to reinforce the heart of defence in the summer.

Marseille are expected to step up their interest in Rami in the coming weeks and it would appear as though the 31-year-old is keen on moving to Stade Velodrome.

“Yes, there is an interest from OM,” Rami told beIN SPORTS. “If we talk about the club and the Marseille ambition, it is very interesting.”

The centre-back also added that he would enjoy getting reunited with Rudi Garcia as the pair had a great working relationship at Lille.

Rami has since represented Valencia, AC Milan and Sevilla, and he now looks set to return to France after six years.

The centre-back has another two years left on his deal with los Rojiblancos, meaning he will not be available on the cheap.
