Competition: Greek Super League
Market: AEK Athens to win against Panionios
Odds: 5/4 @ Bet 365

Panionios welcome AEK Athens to the Nea Smyrni Stadium in the Greek Super League playoffs on Tuesday night, and are likely to be well-beaten given how poor they’ve been in the group of late.

Neither side can pick up Champions League football, but Athens will be in the Europa League regardless, and they should enjoy a comfortable win against a struggling Panionios outfit given the two side’s fortunes in the playoff group.

AEK are third in the table with seven points from five games, boasting two wins and a draw from their last four in the group, and can still finish second if current runners-up Panathinaikos lose to leaders PAOK. Panionios’ poor form makes an away win for AEK a certainly too.

The home side are bottom of the group with just a single point to their name from the five games. They are lost four on the bounce, failing to score in any of the games, and have been the group whipping boys by some distance. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 5/4 for AEK Athens to dispatch of Panionios this week.
