(GSM) – AEK Athens bounced back from a defeat in their opening game of the season, beating Panserraikos 2-0 on Sunday.

After losing their first match at Kerkyra two weeks ago, pressure was on AEK to do better in their second game of the season.

Algerian forward Rafik Djebbour put AEK in the lead after 26 minutes at Georgios Kamaras stadium, and Pantelis Kafes added a second nine minutes after the hour to secure the victory.

AEK climb to sixth place following this win, with the entire top five just one point ahead. Panserraikos are in last place, being the only team to have lost both of its first two games.
