Agent: Inter made ‘attractive offer’ to Kuyt

Inter have made an official offer to Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt, according to the player’s agent.

The Dutch player was linked with a move to Inter last summer shortly after Rafael Benitez had taken over the reigns at Giuseppe Meazza.

It now appears that new Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini also believes the 31-year-old would be a good addition to the squad.

The player’s agent Rob Jansen has revealed that his client has been contacted by Inter.

“Inter have made an attractive offer for Dirk and he has to think about it,” Rob Jansen told RTV West.

“However, the two clubs have yet to agree a deal.”

Kuyt’s place in Liverpool’s starting line-up is in danger following the arrivals of Stuart Downing, Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam, and the Dutchman is reportedly keen on a move to Inter.

liverpool would be smart to sell him given his age and the new arrivals at the club. Dirk has been a fantastic player but it’s time to move him on now.

Also why do Inter keep wanting to sign old players? their squad is probably older than Chelsea’s
