AC Milan are locked in talks with Manchester City regarding the transfer of Edin Dzeko, his agent has confirmed.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international is reportedly Milan’s main priority in the transfer market after the Italian giants sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain in a reported 23-million-euro deal.
Dzeko signed for the Premier League club only last off-season after impressing at Wolfsburg, but it is believed that he has been deemed surplus to requirements by City manager Roberto Mancini.
“Dzeko’s transfer to Milan is more than likely,” Sead Susic told SpazioMilan.it.
“There have been talks and they will continue to happen, let’s see what happens in the next few days.
“He likes Serie A and Milan so much, it would be a great experience.
“It is clear that Milan need to replace Ibrahimovic. I would say it is 70 per cent possible.”
