Liverpool defender Daniel Agger believes team-mate Sami Hyypia will be a success at German side Bayer Leverkusen.
Hyypia has decided to quit Liverpool this summer after spending the last 10 years at the club.
Agger reckons Hyypia is quitting Liverpool too early.
Agger said: “He will be a great player for Bayer Leverkusen. They are signing one of the best defenders in England.
“People say he doesn’t have as much pace as he did, but when you have the intelligence Sami has you do not need to be quick.
“If you can read the game the way he can and work out where the ball is going before anyone else pace is not that important. He can still play at the top level because he looks after himself and trains hard every day.
“And he is still hungry to win football matches.”
