Agger remains on Barcelona radar

Barcelona are not giving up on Liverpool stopper Daniel Agger, Daily Express has revealed.

The Catalans are looking at a number of players as they aim to restore European domination in the 2013/2014 season.

Signing a high-profile centre-back seems to be the priority, with the Catalans rumoured to be readying bid for long-term target Danny Agger.

Barcelona officials have been impressed with the Danish defender and they are hoping to lure him to Camp Nou in the summer.

The Reds are not really prepared to let Agger leave at the end of the current campaign, but they may not be able to resists a big money offer.

Daniel Agger has spent last seven and a half years at Anfield, making 153 Premier League appearances for Liverpool.

He has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the club over the last few months and it remains to be seen whether the Reds will be able to keep hold of their prized asset.
