If it was up to Ajax Amsterdam striker Luis Suarez, he would be joined in the Netherlands by his older brother Paolo. However, the club disagreed after trying the player.
Older brother Luis advised Ajax to give Paolo a chance as the 29-year-old had a status of free agent.
The Uruguayan, who last represented AD Isidro Metapan in El Salvador, was added to Ajax’ amateur team but failed to convince the club’s technical staff.
Paolo Suarez is now likely to sign a contract with a team in his home country.
