Two goals from Brazilian striker Alex led Fenerbahce to a Super Cup victory over Turkish champions Besiktas on Sunday.
The first 75 minutes went by without goals, but Fenerbahce then earned a penalty kick that was converted by Alex.
The South American added a second goal in the dying minutes to take away all doubts.
It is the eighth time that Fenerbahce win the Turkish Super Cup or one of its predecessors. The Istanbul side last won the trophy in 2007.
