Alonso doesn’t worry about Chelsea transfer talks

Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has spoken out regarding Chelsea’s dealings in the summer transfer window, claiming that he’s not even thinking about who may be coming in and out and is simply excited to see his teammates once they all return to training. The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the key members of the Blues’ defence, but elsewhere in the squad the likes of Hazard, Courtois and Willian are all rumoured to be on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge.

The arrival of Maurizio Sarri has been cause for cautious optimism amongst some fans, with rumours of Gonzalo Higuain certainly exciting the masses. However, all of that will be for nothing if they’re unable to keep hold of some of their key players as they attempt to maintain a title challenge once again.

Alonso has been with Chelsea since 2016 when he joined on a permanent deal from Fiorentina.
