Alvaro Morata agrees Serie A switch

Sky Sport Italia is reporting that Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is on the verge of moving to AC Milan.

The 24-year-old appears to have decided to leave los Blancos for greener pastures and a return to Italian Serie A appears on the cards.

Namely, AC Milan are close to agreeing a transfer fee with Real Madrid, believed to be in the region of €70m to €80m, while they have prepared a lucrative contract for the striker worth €8 million per campaign.

The Rossoneri seem determined to seriously reinforce the squad in the summer transfer window and Morata is likely to become their first marquee signing for the new season.

The Spain international has been in fine form since returning from Juventus, bagging 15 goals in mere 14 La Liga starts, albeit failing to move in front of Karim Benzema in the pecking order, and that is probably the main reason he is looking to leave.
