Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo had his contract with Turkish giants Besiktas terminated this week and will continue his career in Dubai.

Former Valencia and Manchester City forward – who was part of the Citizen’s 2013/14 Premier League title winning squad – enjoyed a strong start to his Istanbul stint but has surprisingly decided to quit Besiktas and leave to Al Nasr.

Negredo signed a two-year will with the Dubai-based side after successfully going through the medical. He is expected to earn €3.5 million a season at his new club. Besiktas also pocketed around €7 million in a transfer fee, according to L’Equipe.

Al Nasr will be hoping Alvaro Negredo would make an instant impact after a disappointing start to the new season. Dubai giants lost both of their opening matches of the new season and are currently sitting in 11th place in the Arabian Gulf League.

Alvaro Negredo will meet some familiar faces at Al Nasr – Yohan Cabaye who arrived this summer from Crystal Palace.
