(GSM) – Carlo Ancelotti has shown confidence in his players ahead of the Champions League clash with Internazionale. The Chelsea boss has said that his side will eliminate Jose Mourinho’s team.
Ancelotti is keen to silence rival and former Chelsea coach Mourinho, who has already boasted: “Of course Inter will beat Chelsea.”
“Inter couldn’t have got a worse opponent. It will not be Ancelotti-Mourinho, but a really tough match,” Ancelotti told La Repubblica.
“We couldn’t have got tougher opponents, but we have everything: physique, quality; we can win in many different ways.”
Ancelotti has settled down well in west London and he plans to stay there as he rules out a job with Italy after the World Cup finals.
“The Premier League is difficult compared to Serie A,” he added.
“After Lippi? I will not be there as I have a contract with Chelsea. I will apply in 2030 when Italy will win the World Cup again.
“I have studied the statistics. We win it every 24 years. Every 12 we end up in the final and lose, so I will leave that to someone else.”
