Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has failed to deny rumours that he is to leave the French club at the end of the season.

Rumours have circulated surrounding the Italian’s future in recent weeks, with reports linking him with a summer switch to Real Madrid to replace Jose Mourinho, who in turn could move to the Parc des Princes.

However, speaking ahead of his side’s visit to Evian on Sunday, Ancelotti claimed his destination for next season is yet to be set.

“I told the players not to pay attention to the rumours because nothing is done yet,” he said.

“I can’t say 100 per cent that I’m staying. I will make a decision when the league is over although it won’t be a free call, because I’m under contract until June 30, 2014.

“Hopefully, you’ll have to wait for 15 days to know whether I stay or not.”

PSG are currently six points ahead of Marseille at the top of the league, while a win at Evian would confirm a top-three finish in Ligue 1.

Ancelotti was also keen to stress just how much he enjoys life in the French capital, saying he is “happy the fans appreciate my work”.

“We’ll have a great party with the fans if we win the title,” he continued.

“I think the players want me to stay. I have had a few problems but that’s normal at a football club.

“I get on very well with everybody and I’m very close to [sporting director] Leonardo and also the president Nasser [Al-Khelaïfi].”
