Andre Gomes’ future at Barcelona in doubt

Catalan daily newspaper Sport claims that Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes may be forced to leave Barcelona in the near future.

The Portugal international hasn’t exactly impressed since joining from Valencia, and he had some offers to leave Camp Nou in the summer.

Andre Gomes eventually remained with the Catalans, but everything suggests he will struggle for playing time this season.

Namely, Sport believes that the likes of Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic, Sergi Roberto, Denis Suarez and Paulinho are all in front of him in the pecking order, meaning a winter exit may be on the cards.

In case Barcelona decide to cash in on Gomes, there will be no shortage of offers seeing that clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Tottenham, Manchester United and West Ham are believed to be keen.
