Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli has received a number of lucrative offers from abroad, Tuttosport has revealed.
The 34-year-old still seems capable of playing at the highest level and he is considering his options as the contract in Turin is due to expire at the end of the season.
Barzagli’s representatives have been in talks with the club officials over a two-year extension, but the centre-back is contemplating other opportunities as well.
Namely, the experienced defender has received offers from English Premier League, Spanish La Liga and German Bundesliga.
And while he is not ready to return to Germany, Barzagli is tempted by the prospect of testing his skills in either England or Spain.
The Italy international is, nonetheless, expected to sign a new deal with Juventus, but the contract extension is no certainty at the moment.
Andrea Barzagli has spent last five years in Turin, making a total of 139 Serie A appearances and scoring 1 goal.
