Anthony Ujah nears FC Koln switch

French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah could soon sign a deal with FC Koln.

The Bundesliga outfit have had a shocking start to the new league campaign, taking mere 2 points from first 11 fixtures.

And having scored just 4 goals in the process, FC Koln are desperate to improve their front line at the earliest opportunity.

Rather than waiting for the transfer window to reopen in January, the Billy Goats look set to make a move on free agent Anthony Ujah.

The 27-year-old recently left Liaoning Kaixin on a free transfer and everything suggests he will soon return to RheinEnergieStadion.

During his first spell with FC Koln, Ujah managed 34 goals in 94 league appearances.
