Arda Turan linked with Galatasaray return

Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Galatasaray have launched a fresh assault on Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan.

The Catalans were hoping to sell the Turkish footballer this summer, but having failed to receive a single offer for an outright transfer, they are now forced to consider letting him leave on loan.

His former club Galatasaray are the only side interested in signing Turan on a season-long loan and they have until Friday to try and agree a deal with Barcelona.

Arda Turan hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth at Camp Nou after joining from Atletico Madrid, scoring 5 times in 36 league matches.

The 30-year-old could now get a chance to try and kick-start his career at Galatasaray, and he would probably jump at the opportunity to return to Istanbul.
