Arjen Robben linked with China switch

German media outlet Sport Bild claims that Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has received a lucrative offer from China.

The 33-year-old recently signed a one-year extension with the club until June 2018 despite interest from Asia, but he could reconsider his options at the end of the 2017/2018 campaign.

Namely, Guangzhou Evergrande are keen on luring Robben to China and they are prepared to offer him a mega-money contract.

And while Robben seem determined to carry on playing at the highest level, the fact of the matter is that he will be 34 next January and he may not resist temptation to secure another lucrative contract before hanging up his boots.

The Netherlands international has proved one of club’s best ever signings, having managed 126 goals and 81 assists in 245 competitive appearances for the Bavarians after joining in a €24 million deal from Real Madrid.
