Arnautovic linked with Premiership switch

Werder Bremen forward Marko Arnautovic could be moving to English Premier League in the next 48 hours, reports Bild.

The Austrian footballer, who has been heavily linked with a summer exit, was left on the bench in yesterday’s 4-1 defeat to Borussia M’gladbach, which could suggest boss Robin Dutt is prepared to let him leave.

According to Bild, the 24-year-old has two offers from English Premier League clubs and and he is likely to accept one of the proposals in the coming days.

Werder Bremen seem to be ready to cut their losses on the controversial striker and sell for less than the €6.2 million they paid Twente for his services in the summer of 2010.

Arnautovic has since shown a great deal of potential at Weserstadion, managing 14 goals and 9 assists in 72 Bundesliga appearances, but his unprofessional behaviour seriously hindered his progress over the last couple of years.
