Arsenal 13/20 to defeat Watford in Saturday’s Premier League showdown

Competition: Premier League

Market: Arsenal to beat Watford

Odds: 13/20 @ Bet365

The Premier League is back this weekend and with it comes some very interesting matches. Judging by their rejuvenation in recent weeks, Arsenal will be the favourites to claim victory on Saturday evening, but Watford will provide a very stern test for the London side.

The hosts have been inconsistent in their last five games, winning twice, losing one and drawing twice. This has seen them rise to eighth in the table with 12 points, just one point behind the visitors. While they have not been able to replicate high-quality performances on a regular basis, Watford’s position in the league shows that they are not a team to be trifled with. If Arsenal underestimates them, then they could be in for a very long evening.

The visitors have managed to arrest their early-season slump and they are now back in the hunt in the league. Arsenal have climbed up to fifth in the league with 13 points, winning three of their last four games. For all of their apparent struggles, they are now level on points with Chelsea and they are just seven points short of Manchester City at the top. If Arsenal are to gain a foothold in the table with which they can challenge the Manchester sides at the top, then they simply must beat Watford. With this in mind, Bet365 have Arsenal at 13/20 to beat Watford on Saturday evening.
