Odds: 3/10 @ Ladbrokes

Arsenal lock horns with Sunderland this afternoon in the third round of the FA Cup, and are big favourites to come out on top at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have been in decent form in the Premier League of late, and have already beaten Sunderland this season when the two sides met in December. As a result, the FA Cup holders are hoping to continue their winning ways to go a step closer to retaining their trophy for a second time.

Sunderland picked up their first league win in six earlier this month, but aren’t likely to name a strong side to get a result today. Manager Sam Allardyce would rather not risk the fitness of his players, so he’s expected to ring the changes for today’s meeting. Sunderland could well suffer, but the squad selected still have a chance to impress.

However, with Arsenal in such fine form, the Londoners are expected to comfortably see past their North-east opposition to book their place in the fourth round. Ladbrokes are giving odds of 3/10 for Arsenal to beat Sunderland.
