Arsenal and Juventus battle for Leon Goretzka

German media outlet Bild is reporting that European powerhouses Arsenal and Juventus are keeping close tabs on Schalke starlet Leon Goretzka.

The 21-year-old has been on the radar of Europe’s top sides for quite some time, and he could soon realise a big club move.

Namely, Goretzka has another 18 months left to run on his current deal and chances are that Schalke will be forced to sell at the end of the season.

The Miners are almost certain to miss out on European qualification and some sacrifices will have to be made.

Arsenal and Juventus are closely monitoring the situation, ready to act if an opportunity arises, although it appears that the talented youngster will finish the current season at Veltins Arena.

His suitors Arsenal climbed to second in the Premier League standings thanks to the controversial triumph over Burnley and they are 8/1 chance to go all the way.
