Competition: Premier League
Market: Arsenal and Man City to draw
Odds: 12/5 @ Ladbrokes
Arsenal and Manchester City lock horns tonight in an early title clash at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners are slim favourites to come out on top due to their impressive form of late, but City – while having gone four away games without a win – have a strong side to face Arsenal and could well get back to form with the likes of Sergio Aguero back in the side.
Arsenal are second in the table after 16 games, and are five points adrift of Leicester City. They would likely still settle for a share of the spoils against Manchester City tonight as they can make up the deficit to the Foxes without winning this evening’s outing. Losing could be more fatal than keeping City below them in the table so manager Arsene Wenger might be more pragmatic.
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is also likely to be cautious, and would have taken a point in this fixture if offered before the game. As a result, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 12/5 for Arsenal and City to play out a stalemate at the Emirates Stadium tonight in the Premier League.
