Arsenal back in for Draxler

Arsenal are set to revive their interest in Schalke’s Julian Draxler, according to the Daily Star.

The North London club have been linked with a move for the Germany international for some time, while Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested in securing his services.

The 21 year old has spent his entire career so far with Schalke, and has already chalked up over one hundred and fifty appearances in all competitions, scoring twenty-eight goals.

He has admitted to having previously held talks with the Gunners, and further discussions are likely to take place when the transfer window reopens in January.

Arsenal lost in the Premier League for the first time this season at the weekend, with their 2-0 defeat to Chelsea seeing them slip to eight place and fall nine points behind Jose Mourinho’s men.

Arsene Wenger’s side can now be backed at 20/1 to win their first title in eleven years.
