Arsenal bring in Ospina

Arsenal have completed the signing of goalkeeper David Ospina from Ligue 1 side Nice, according to the Mail Online.

The Colombia international, who starred at this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil, has penned a four year deal with the North London club and will compete with Wojciech Sczcesny for the number one spot.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has long been looking for a new keeper, though has had to up his efforts to bring in reinforcements after Lukas Fabianski moved to Swansea City earlier this summer.

Emiliano Vivano moved to the Emirates Stadium on a season long loan last year but returned to Italy at the end of the campaign having never played a competitive game for the club.

Arsenal, who finished fourth in the table last season, begin the forthcoming campaign at home against Crystal Palace where they can be backed at 3/10 to take all three points.
