Arsenal full-back Gael Clichy has admitted he is ‘flattered’ by rumours suggesting AC Milan are interested in securing his signature.

Clichy saw former Gunner Mathieu Flamini depart for the San Siro last year, but insists he sees his future at Emirates Stadium.

When asked of Milan’s reported interest, he told L’Equipe: “I don’t know anything. I am very happy at Arsenal. It is true AC Milan are a great club. It is flattering to know you are followed by such a team.”
