Arsenal eye Oxford move

Arsenal are lining up an £8m summer move for West Ham United starlet Reece Oxford, according to the Mirror.

The defender has broke into the Hammers first team this season, and made his league debut in the 2-0 win over the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on the opening weekend of the season.

In total he has made just eight appearances in all competitions, but has been a regular in Slaven Bilic’s matchday squads while he has ten caps for England’s U17s.

Steve Rowley, Arsenal’s chief scout, is a big admirer of Oxford and has also cast an eye over a number of other young talents including Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell, Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham and Nigerian duo Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze.

The North London side are currently third in the Premier League, and are priced at 3/4 to beat leaders Leicester City on Sunday.
