Arsenal improve offer for Thomas Lemar

French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Arsenal have submitted a fresh proposal for Monaco hotshot Thomas Lemar.

The Gunners proved their ambition by securing the signature of Ligue 1 top goalscorer Alexandre Lacazette and they now hope to add Thomas Lemar to their ranks as well.

After having initial €40 million proposal rejected, Arsenal have now raised their offer to €45 million, with Monaco yet to respond.

The Principality club seem determined to keep hold of their prized asset after losing Bernardo Silva, but they may not be able to reject a mega money offer for his services.

Thomas Lemar was one of Monaco’s main creative outlets last term, having produced 9 goals and 11 assists in 34 league appearances.
