Arsenal join Pogba race

Arsenal are ready to make an £80m move for Juventus star Paul Pogba, according to the Metro.

The France international is set to be the subject of interest from a number of Europe’s elite this summer, though Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to steal a march on his rivals.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for the 21 year old, who has been with Juve since the summer of 2012.

In just over two-and-a-half years, he has racked up one hundred and thirteen appearances in all competitions, scoring twenty-two goals while he was part of the squad that won back-to-back Serie A titles in 2013 and 2014.

Internationally, he has been capped twenty-two times, scoring five goals – one of which came at last summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil where Les Bleus were eliminated by eventual champions Germany in the quarter finals.
