Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to make a £6million bid for PSV Eindhoven ace Ibrahim Afellay, according to the Sun.
Afellay have an £11million buyout clause in his contract, but it is believed the Dutch club would consider selling him for less.
Manchester City and Manchester United are also interested in Afellay, Ontheminute.com reported last month.
Barcelona and Holland legend Ronald Koeman has compared the 22-year-old to Johan Cruyff.
He said: “Ibrahim has certain things in his style that can be compared to Johan Cruyff’s game.
“He can speed up with the ball, he can whizz past players as if they are puppets. He has qualities as an attacker which we hardly see these days in football.”
