Arsenal rekindle interest in Talisca

Premier League giants Arsenal have reignited their interest in Benfica midfielder Talisca, O Jogo has quoted Turkish media as saying.

The Brazilian was allowed to leave the Eagles last summer after struggling for playing time at Estadio da Luz, and he has since impressed during the loan stint with Besiktas.

The Black Eagles have the option to extend the loan for another year, but chances are that Talisca will be sold in the summer.

Namely, Arsenal have now joined the race for his services, while Liverpool, Manchester United and Everton are all believed to be keen.

Talisca had been in fine form during his maiden season at Benfica, scoring 11 goals in total, while he has managed 10 goals already in the Besiktas shirt.

The 23-year-old is clearly capable of scoring goals on regular basis despite playing in midfield and it is hardly surprising top English clubs are after his signature.
