Arsenal rekindle interest in Yacine Brahimi

Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola claims that Premier League giants Arsenal have reignited their interest in FC Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi.

About a year ago, the Algerian was on the radar of quite a few top clubs, but his stock fell as the footballer’s attempts to leave the club resulted in him being frozen out of the squad.

Brahimi has since returned to the side and rediscovered their form, so no wonder the big clubs are again casting admiring glances his way.

A Bola claims that Arsenal scouts were present as FC Porto faced Fereirense in midweek, with the 26-year-old playing full ninety minutes.

FC Porto seem ready to cash in on their star player in the January transfer window, but it has to be noted that the likes of Nice, AC Milan, Everton, Galatasaray and Besiktas are also keen on the highly rated footballer who scored 3 goals in 9 league outings this term.
