Premier League giants Arsenal have made another check on FC Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira, according to O Jogo.
It is no secret that the Gunners are in the market for a central midfielder as they expect the likes of Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini all to leave at the end of the current campaign.
O Jogo understands that they are currently keeping close tabs on FC Porto star Danilo Pereira, and the Gunners scouts were present as FC Porto faced Sporting Lisbon at the weekend.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed an impressive debut season at Estadio do Dragao after joining from Maritimo, scoring 5 goals in 31 league outings, while featuring in six Champions League matches.
Pereira appears to have nailed down a regular starting berth in the Portugal national team as well, having started last three Euro 2016 qualifiers for Fernando Santos’ side, taking his tally to nine Selecao caps.
