Arsenal set to snap up Fellaini?

Premier League giants Arsenal are a club famed for their slick passing, technical build up play and dizzying movement. With that in mind manager Arsene Wenger often looks for pacey, technical players with a keen eye for a pass. The likes of Cesc Fabregas and Santi Cazorla are perfect examples of players who suit Arsenal’s style.

It seems obvious then that, according to the Guardian, the Gunners would target Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, who is so well known for his mobility and grace.

The Belgian has reportedly refused to sign a new contract at the Manchester club, and a whole host of clubs are interested in acquiring his services.

Fellaini’s game time has been sporadic under manager Jose Mourinho and he has featured seven times in the Premier League this season, somehow scoring three goals.

Arsenal meanwhile find themselves down in sixth place, so perhaps they could do with a no nonsense physical midfielder who is prone to picking up multiple yellow cards. A Granit Xhaka type, if you will.
