Arsenal, Spurs join race for Patrik Schick

Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have joined the chase to sign Czech striker Patrik Schick from Sampdoria, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old enjoyed an excellent start to his career in Italy, catching the eye of top Serie A sides.

However, it appears that Schick has got quite a few suitors from abroad as well, with Arsenal and Tottenham expressing their interest.

The player’s agent will be in London today to speak to the representatives of the two clubs, meaning that a summer move to England may be on the cards for his client.

Despite only starting five Serie A matches, Schick has already scored 7 goals, which is enough to suggest that he’s got a great future ahead of him.

The only problem could be his £21 million release clause, while it is important to note that the likes of Everton, West Bromwich and Crystal Palace have also been showing interest in his services.
