Mexico international Carlos Vela, who already signed for The Gunners at the beginning of 2007, is currently on loan at the Spanish outfit Osasuna. The 19-year-old striker has not played a single game for Arsenal or even on English soil.
And after three separate loan spells in Spain, Wenger wants him to return and play for Arsenal next season. Wenger thinks he will be the ideal replacement for Eduardo, who will be sidelined for quite some time.
Wenger has applied for a work permit for the 19-year-old, and stated: “We have applied for a work permit for him now, and he will be involved with the first team next season.”
This season the striker has made 32 appearances this season and scored 3 goals. He played mostly as the winger, but Wenger see him more of a striker similar to Eduardo.

hi there.looks so gud for the gunners this season as wenger seems to be the busiest man on the market.for a longer time nw am happy about that. But,he shud be careful not to loose grip on Arshavin. He is such a wonderful player who cud fit well in arsenal setup.
