Italian giants AS Roma are readying January bid for Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Giallorossi are short of options in the middle of the park after Alesandro Florenzi suffered a serious injury, while Radja Nainggolan is being linked with a winter exit.
As a result, they have set out to recruit at least one more central midfielder and Napoli footballer Jorginho appears to be high on their wish list.
The Italy international seems to have lost his place in the side at Stadio San Paolo and he is reportedly looking for a way out.
AS Roma officials have been in contact with the player’s representatives for quite some time, but it remains to be seen whether Napoli will be prepared to negotiate the sale.
The two sides are locked in the battle for Champions League positions, with the Giallorossi priced at 2/5 for a top 3 finish.
