AS Roma join chase for Bryan Cristante

Il Tempo understands that AS Roma have joined the race to sign Benfica midfielder Bryan Cristante.

The 22-year-old will be the subject of a real bidding war having impressed during the loan spell with Atalanta, who are set to exercise a €4 million release clause before listening to offers for his services.

According to Il Tempo, AS Roma are the latest high-profile club to be readying an official proposal for Cristante.

The Giallorossi will try to beat the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan to the player’s signature, although the midfielder is unlikely to be moving clubs in January.

The AC Milan graduate has largely impressed since arriving in Bergamo, scoring impressive 9 goals in 25 competitive outings.
