AS Roma set sights on Andriy Yarmolenko

The newly-appointed AS Roma sporting director, Monchi, has been working around the clock to bolster the Giallorossi ranks ahead of the new season.

The Serie A giants have already signed a couple of players this summer, but they have also lost one their first-team stars, Mohamed Salah, who was transferred to Liverpool.

Monchi has been busy looking for a proper replacement for the Egyptian winger and it is being reported that AS Roma have set their sights on Dinamo Kiev star Andriy Yarmolenko. Sky Italia claims AS Roma have already made contact with the Ukraine giants and are ready to pounce for Yarmolenko in case a deal for Gregoire Defrel falls through.

AS Roma have offered €18 million for the Sassuolo man, but appear not to be willing to the extra mile and pay Sassuolo’s €25 million valuation.

Yarmolenko would be available for €17 million plus add-ons which is believed to be a more affordable option for the AS Roma management.

Dynamo Kiev key man has spent a full decade at his club.
