Serie A heavyweights AS Roma have already begun their summer transfer dealings in an effort to build a more competitive side that will compete with Juventus for Scudetto next year.

Giallorossi have all but secured a deal for the talented Dinamo Zagreb playmaker Ante Coric, who is in Rome where he’s expected to conclude his medicals and put pen to paper on a contract with the Italian side.

Dinamo Zagreb confirmed their 20-year-old talent is on the verge of an €8 million transfer, whereas the player has already been pictured holding a No.7 shirt with his name on the back.

In the meantime, the Giallorossi are attempting to conclude a deal for Ivan Marcano, the 30-year-old Porto defender who is running out of contract with the Portuguese giants.

The experienced Spanish international will not be extending his deal with the Dragoes and is expected to leave after four seasons in Portugal.
